The Distillery Boston is a haven for artists and craftspeople
The Distillery is one of Boston’s oldest artist communities and includes commercial studio spaces and artist live/work units.
The 100,000 square foot brick factory was built as a rum distillery in the 1860s (read about its history here) and today includes The Distillery Gallery and about 100 working artists, artisans, and small businesses. It also adjoins The Distillery North, a cutting edge sustainable apartment building. Together they create a community dedicated to the creative arts and the environment.
